Big Bold Blooms Painting Workshop in my studio! Jan 15,16,17 - 2016.

Join me for a rare "in my studio" workshop! Friday from 6-8:30, Saturday and Sunday from 10-4:30.

 Painting Big! Painting Vibrantly! Painting Loose! Painting Blooms!! Let's embrace our wild side!! 

Using acrylic paint and pastel we will push towards abstraction and a fresh interpretation of a traditional subject matter, FloWeRS!! We will begin with drawing to music to loosen up, then paint larger on a 24x30 canvas, and finally to a 30x40 or 36x48. There will be layering, a fresh approach to color and finally yummy rich pastel drawing on top! I will lead you through sketching, underpainting, using neutral colors so your vibrant colors will pop, and ways to bring your big juicy paintings to a finish.
